Nancye Bailey, President & Founder

Nancye has been  in the event planning business for more than 11 years, first on a volunteer basis and then, in 2003 as a part-time independent contractor for a variety of events.  She founded CEC in the fall of 2006 where she now works full-time.  Nancye graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management.  She is a frequent guest speaker at the University and is currently co-authoring a chapter for an event planning textbook to be used at universities nationwide.

 Alicia Buffum, Event Manager

Alicia joined the CEC Team in January 2009.  Although her primary role is project manager for fundraising events, she also is involved in sales for the company.  Prior to joining CEC, Alicia worked in medical sales and volunteered her time planning events for organizations and local businesses.  She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a major in English.

Gayle Stephenson, Event Manager

Gayle has been with CEC since 2008 and has worked as project manager on a variety of events including fundraisers, corporate meetings, and social events. Prior to joining CEC, she planned events for the Atlanta Motor Speedway and Creative Memories.  She is also the youth ministries event coordinator for a large local church.  Gayle graduated from Georgia State University with a BA in Public Relations.
